Must Have Tools in My Toolbox and Shop
While I try to keep this website somewhat generic in what topics I cover it becomes difficult for me to be anybody but who I am and a large part of who I am is a 53-year-old guy who has used his hands for most of those years. By using my hands I mean working with tools and the need for tools never goes away. The purpose of this page is not to be a duplicate of the other tools page but rather an index of tools I can’t live without, tools I use frequently and tools that I need, want, and plan on purchasing. In the case of an obsolete tool, I will include a current equivalent.
While it might appear that I favor Bosch power tools that is simply not the case. I make all my tool decisions based on what tool is the “Best” for my needs and quite often Bosch is the best. When purchasing cordless tools it’s cost-effective to choose a brand and stick with it. While that is certainly a factor for me I don’t tie myself down based on a battery.
